10 Ideas to Improve GNOME

Check out this well thought out list of 10 ideas to improve GNOME. Here are my thoughts on some of the ideas in the list:

1. Ditch the Acronym

I agree 100%. Many users may not even realize GNOME is an acronym.

2. Highlight New Apps

When Windows does this it is annoying. GNOME does not need to highlight new items in the menu because it tells you after new applications are installed where they are located in the menu anyways.

6. Something Better than Wallpaper

It would be neat to match the moving backgrounds in Windows Vista Ultimate in GNOME.
