Change Hidden Settings with Ubuntu Tweak

Don’t like editing configuration files and changing values in gconf-editor? Ubuntu Tweak provides a simple interface for tweaking hidden settings in Ubuntu.

Features of Ubuntu Tweak:
- GNOME Session Control
- Show/Hide and Change Splash screen
- Show/Hide desktop icons or Mounted Volumes.
- Show/Hide/Rename Computer, Home, Trash icon or Network icon
- Use Home Directory as Desktop
- Compiz Fusion settings, Screen Edge Settings, Window Effects Settings.
- GNOME Panel Settings.
- Nautilus Settings.
- Advanced Power Management Settings.
- System Security Settings.

My favorite tweaks are the desktop icon settings, and the Compiz screen corner actions. The Nautilus CD burning options also look interesting.

Packages for installing Ubuntu Tweak are available on the download page.

Checked it out..
Doesn’t change almost anything.
Not worth it IMO.
