My Five Favorite Linux Games

Here are my current five favorite Linux-native games, in order.

  1. Frozen Bubble 2.1.0 (ubuntu repository)
  2. Nexuiz 2.3 (download)
  3. Wormux 0.7.9 (ubuntu repository)
  4. Scorched 3D 40.1d (ubuntu repository)
  5. SuperTux 0.3.0 (download)

It is impressive that a few people working together over the Internet can produce games just as fun and polished as those made by big companies. What open source games are you most impressed by?

I think I would list Neverball too. Is it in the Ubuntu repository?

Paul

I’d have to add Crack Attack to that list.

@Peter
Galcon looks cool but it is neither open source nor free.

How do you start UltimateStunts in ubuntu?

Tom

rico001:
There should be a menu item in the Applications->Games menu for UltimateStunts.
