Hehe. The fish comes back even after clicking on it but I guess I can live with it until I logout.

To kill Wanda, open a run dialog and type in “killall gnome-panel” without the quotes, or simply log out and log back in.
Stumbled this post, I got the fish to go away by left clicking.
Shoot.
Never mind, it just came back. Hah!
To make the fish go away, in terminal type in ” killall gnome-panel”
Neither of these works for me. Maybe Compiz has something to do with it?
just double click it… mine works
